Judith Espinoza Healey I was born in a small town in Michoacan, Mexico, and moved to California to pursue a Baking career when I turned eighteenth years old. I asked my parents for permission to come to the USA. After a long trip and many struggles on the way, I finally set in Santa Rosa, where I worked the fields picking vegetables and legumes for few years until I could afford to go to the community college to learn the language to sharpen my knowledge in the baking business. I attended the community college while working two jobs to help support the family I had left behind and my leaving expenses in the country. In 1998 I opened my first Bakery in Sonoma County. I created a very successful local bakery with a loyal following to this day. In 2004 I entered wedding cakes, Flan, and other pastries and desserts in the annual Sonoma County Harvest Fair, winning six gold medals, three silver, and two bronze for my confection and authentic well-decorated cakes. Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri awarded me a double gold medal for my very own flan recipe, tres leches cake, and many other pastries and fabulous desserts. Tia Judith Confection has relocated with her family to Sacramento and Yolo Counties to continue serving the long-time loyal customers and amazing followers witch she is grateful for all these years.
